Box Score (GROVE CITY, Pa.) – The Thomas More College volleyball team remained undefeated in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) as it defeated Grove City College, 3-0, tonight (Friday, October 9, 2015) at the Grove City College Arena in Grove City, Pennsylvania.
With the win, the Saints improve to 12-3 overall and 11-0 in the PAC. With the loss, the Wolverines fall to 9-13 overall and 7-4 in the PAC.
Senior outside hitter Stacy Howell (Cincinnati, Ohio/Glen Este) led the Saints with 18 kills, while senior middle hitter Jessica Knaley (Florence, Ky./St. Henry) added 11 kills. Sophomore setter Jenna Fessler (Fort Mitchell, Ky./Beechwood) paced the offense with 40 assists.
Howell also led the Saints' defensive effort with 11 digs. Junior outside hitter Marisa Meyer (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) and junior outside hitter Sydney Bragg (Huron, Ohio/Huron) each finished with nine digs.
Thomas More closes out its six matches in four days in Western Pennsylvania tomorrow with a PAC tri-math in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. The Saints will play host Geneva College at 11 a.m. and Thiel College at 1 p.m.
