Box Score (ANDERSON, Ind.) – The 23rd-ranked Thomas More College men's soccer team fell, 1-0, to Anderson University today (Saturday, September 13, 2014) in a non-conference match at the AU Soccer Field in Anderson, Indiana.
With the loss, the Saints fall to 4-2 and with the win, the Ravens improve to 3-3.
Anderson's Brody Reinholt scored the lone goal of the match at the 73:45 mark of the match.
The Ravens out-shot the Saints, 12-10, but each team had four shots on-goal. Anderson also won the battle of corner kicks, 5-4.
Senior forward Jake Plummer (North Olmsted, Ohio/Hearts of Jesus Christ-Corpus Christi) led the team in shots with three.
Senior goalkeeper Matt Kees (Covington, Ky./Scott) suffered the loss in goal as he allowed one goal, while recording three saves.
Thomas More returns to the action on Tuesday (September 16) when it travels to Granville, Ohio to play Denison University at 7 p.m.
