Box Score (DANVILLE, Ky.) - The 24th-ranked Thomas More College men's soccer team and Centre College played to a 0-0 double overtime tie tonight (Tuesday, September 20, 2011) in a non-conference match at Hillside Field in Danville, Kentucky.
With the tie, the Saints are now 6-0-1 and the Colonels are 4-2-1.
Senior goalkeeper Zack Lawson (Frankfort, Ky./Frankfort) played all 110 minutes in goal and recorded his fifth shutout of the season, while recording eight saves.
Centre out-shot Thomas More, 15-14, while both teams each had eight shots on-goal and four corner kicks.
Thomas More returns to action next Tuesday (September 27) when it hosts Ohio Northern University at 4 p.m. at The Bank of Kentucky Field in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
