Macara (Vonderahe) Berlekamp is in her 6th year at Thomas More during the 2025-26 academic year and is in her 5th year as the Director of Sports Information. 

Berlekmap serves as the main contact for women's soccer, women's and men's cross-country, cheerleading, dance, women's and men's tennis, women's and men's golf, men's wrestling, softball, baseball, women's & men's track & field, and women's and men's basketball. 

She manages the graphic designs and the main Athletic Department social media accounts.  She also handles game statistics, website updates, and publications.

Berlekamp is a 2019 graduate of nearby Xavier University, where she majored in marketing.  She served four years as an office assistant in the athletic department at Xavier.  Berlekamp assisted with office work and special events, participated in planning the Xavier Hall of Fame dinner and conducted research for the coaches of Xavier’s 16 athletic teams.

Berlekamp also served two years as a marketing intern in Xavier’s athletic department.  During her marketing internship she assisted with game-day operations, executed marketing promotions throughout men’s and women’s basketball games and ensured sponsorship activations elements were fulfilled on behalf of Xavier.

Berlekamp earned her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at Thomas More in 2022 and resides on the west side of Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband Spencer.
