Clayton Sets School Record and Saints Finish 10th at Fast Cats Classic

(OWENSBORO, Ky.) – First-year Annabel Clayton (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) set the school record today (Saturday, October 12, 2019) and the Thomas More University women's cross country team finished 10th at the Fast Cats Classic in Owensboro, Kentucky.

  • Clayton broke the school record she set last week as she set the new record with a time of 18:58 and finished 10th out of 136 runners.
  • Senior Natalie Kleier (Fort Wright, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) finished 38th with a time of 20:07.
  • First-year Jenna Cayze (Florence, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) finished 76th with a time of 21:35.
  • First-year Anja Arlinghaus (Independence, Ky./Simon Kenton) placed 80th with a time of 21:46.
  • Sophomore Sammie Kleier (Fort Wright, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) finished 88th with a time of 22:11.

  • The Saints return to action next Saturday (October 19) when they compete at the Evansville Invitational in Evansville, Indiana.
