Saints' Women's Cross Country Places Second at Hanover Invitational

(HANOVER, Ind.) – The Thomas More University women's cross country team recorded a team time of 1:52:08.5 today (Saturday, September 7, 2019) to finish second out of six teams at the Hanover College Invitational at Hanover, Indiana.

  • First-year Annabel Clayton (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) led the Saints as she finished second out of 49 runners with a time of 20:13.3.
  • Senior Natalie Kleier (Fort Wright, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) was seventh with a time of 21:30.4.
  • First-year Anja Arlinghaus (Independence, Ky./Simon Kenton) ran a time of 22:32.7 and finished 11th.
  • First-year Jenna Cayze (Florence, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) was 19th with a time of 23:48.1.
  • Sophomore Sammie Kleier (Fort Wright, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) finished 20th with a time of 24.04.0.

  • Thomas More returns to the race course next Saturday (September 14) when it competes at the Cedarville University Invitational in Cedarville, Ohio.
