Women's Volleyball Travels to Lexington Saturday

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) - The No. 11-ranked, 12-1, Thomas More Saints travel to Lexington, Ky. to take on the Transylvania Pioneers for a 1 p.m. match-up on Saturday.

 

  • The No. 14-ranked 11-1 Thomas More women's volleyball team hosts the 5-4 Mount St. Joseph Lions on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. matchup.

  • Thomas More comes into the match 12-1, coming off a 3-1 win over Mount St. Joseph.
  • Thomas More won with scores of 25-13, 25-16, 21-25, 25-20.
  • 24 different Saints saw action tonight during some point of the match.
  • Emily Mohs and Jenna Mummert  led the team in kills, each recording 10.
  • Jenna Fessler led the game with 31 assists, along with one kill and two digs. 
  • Jessica Ginn led the team with 17 digs, along with two assists and two service aces. 
  • The Saints out hit the Lions, 53-38.

 

  • Transylvania comes into the match 5-7, coming off a 3-0 loss by No. 3 Wittenberg. 
  • Jennifer Buckman led the team with 12 kills.
  • Kori Rudolph led the team with 25 digs. 
  • Transylvania was out hit, .044 to .194.
  • The Pioneers have played four ranked teams leading up to playing the No. 11 Saints.
