(CRESTVEIW HILLS, Ky.) - The No. 23-ranked, undefeated, women's volleyball team hosts its first home match of the season. The Saints host the Hanover Panthers for a Wednesday match starting at 7:00 pm.
- The No. 23-ranked, 8-0, Thomas More women's volleyball team hosts Hanover College on Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 7:00pm.
- This will be Thomas More's first home volleyball match of the season.
- Thomas More went 4-0 last weekend at the Bluffton Spiketacular.
- The Saints took down No. 19-ranked Ohio Northern 3-1 for the second time this season.
- The Saints also defeated Bluffton 3-1, Heidelberg 3-0, and DePauw 3-1.
- Jessica Ginn, Julia Popova, and Jenna Mummert were honored by the ACAA as Players of the Week.
- Mummert led the Heidelberg match in kills, recording 11.
- Jenna Fessler recorded 30 assists against Heidelberg, as well as four service aces, six digs, and one kill.
- Madison Krumpelman led the DePauw match in kills, recording 20, along with 15 digs.
- Emily Mohs recorded the second most kills in the DePauw match for the Saints with 17, along with one dig and two blocks.
- Junior outside hitter Alli Borders (Florence, Ky./Boone County) had six blocks against Bluffton.
- Carlee Lambert (Cincinnati, Ohio/McAuley) tallied 17 assists against ONU.
- Hanover comes into tomorrow's match 5-2 overall.
- The Panthers went 3-1 at the Capital/Otterbein Classic in Columbus, Ohio, taking down Capital, Muskingum, and Adrian.
- Hanover recently fell to Centre, 3-2, at the Hanover Invitational.
- Kelsey Ketcham leads the team in kills (69) and assists (109).
- Ally Williams leads the Panthers in digs with 141.
- The team is averaging 14 points per set, along with an average of 10.15 assists per set, 11.30 kills per set, and 1.74 blocks per set.
