Thomas More Takes on Three Away Games This Weekend

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) - The Thomas More women's tennis team travels to Capital, Marietta, and Muskingum this weekend for three separate matches. 

  • It has been awhile since the Saints last had a match, two of their matches getting cancelled due to weather. 
  • Last time out, at the Franklin Doubles Tournament, the Saints finished first place
  • The Saints finished with 11 points, Franklin had eight points; Oakland City University had four points and Earlham College had one point.
  • Only counted the scores of the Top-4 lines of doubles for each match.
  • Thomas More won 11 of the possible 12 points.


  • This will be the first official match that Capital has played this season.
  • Their first scheduled match against Earlham was postponed to a later date. 
  • The match between the Saints and Crusaders will begin at 5:.30pm today. 


  • This will be the first match scheduled for the Pioneers this season. 
  • Last season they went 5-15, falling to Thomas More 0-9 in the season opener.
  • The face Thomas More on the 15th at 12pm.


  • The Fighting Muskies will face W&J today for thier first match of the season.
  • They face Thomas More on the 16th at 12pm. 

  • The Saints will be idle in competition until Oct. 6 after this weekend. 
  • Thomas More will face off against Berea on Oct. 6, then return home for a two game home stand on Oct. 6/7.
