(GAMBIER, Ohio) – The Thomas More University women's soccer team won its second-straight match today (Saturday, October 6, 2018) as it shutout Kenyon College, 1-0, at Mavec Field in Gambier, Ohio.
- First-year midfielder Lindsey Brown (Melbourne, Ky./Campbell County) scored unassisted in the 71st minute for the lone goal of the match.
- Thomas More improves to 3-10.
- The Ladies fall to 4-3-3.
- Junior goalkeeper Maddy Kim (California, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) earned the shutout win as she played all 90 minutes and had seven saves.
- First-year defender Jordan Harley (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mother of Mercy) led the team in shots with two (both on-goal).
- Kenyon ha a 19-6 advantage in shots, including 7-3 on-goal.
- Thomas More returns to action on Wednesday (October 10) when it travels to Springfield, Ohio to play Wittenberg University at 7 p.m.
