Women's Soccer Hosts MSJ Wednesday

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) - The 1-9 Thomas More women's soccer team hosts the 6-1-2 Mount St. Joseph Lions on Wednesday for the second to last home game for the Saints. 

  • The Thomas More women's soccer team hosts the Mount St. Joseph Lions in a Wednesday matchup. 
  • The match is set to start at at 4:30 p.m. 

  • The Saints fell 3-0 to ONU and Capital last week. 
  • In the ONU match, first-year midfielder Sophie Denier (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills) led the Saints in shots with two, including one on-goal.
  • Junior goalkeeper Maddy Kim (California, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) played all 90 minutes in goal and had seven saves.
  • In the Capital match,  
  • First-year midfielder Denier led the team in shots with two.
  • Junior goalkeeper Kim played all 90 minutes in goal and recorded seven saves.

MOUNT ST. JOSEPH

  • The Lions come into tomorrow's match 6-1-2 overall and on a three-game win streak. 
  • MSJ recently took down Trine, 2-0, Hiram, 4-0, and Ohio Wesleyan, 6-2.
  • The Lions have recorded 160 shots so far this season, along with 92 shots on goal, 12 assists, and four shutouts. 
  • Goalkeeper Maddie Muterspaw has recorded 21 saves in goal for a 2-0-2 record.
