Biography

Sophomore Highlights (2024-25): Appeared in 32 matches on the season. Posted an overall record of 31-1 on the year. Recorded 19 wins by pin, 3 by tech fall and one by major decision. He was an NCWA National Qualifier for the 141 lb. weight class. He won the G-MAC Championship for the 141lb. weight class and was named First Team All-Conference. 

Redshirt First Year Highlights (2023-24): Wrestled in 21 matches for the Saints, posting an overall record of 20 wins and 1 loss. He recorded 15 wins on the season. He qualified for the NCWA National Championships where he went 5-0 with 4 pins and claimed the NCWA National Championship for the 141 lb weight class.

Freshman Highlights (2022-23): Did not compete this season for the Saints.

High School Highlights: Thomas attended Ryle High School where he wrestled for head coach Tim Ruschell. Over is four year career he was a four time state champion and tallied an overall record of 221-2.

Personal: Cole Thomas is the son of Darren and Francine Thomas. He has five siblings, Taylor, Paige, Maggi, Emily and Gabriel.  He transferred to Thomas More from UT-Chattanooga.
