Biography
Junior Highlights (2023): Competed in all 6 outdoor meets, and 4 indoor meets for the Saints. Earned 2nd Team All-Conference honors at the Outdoor MSC championships in the 4x800 Relay. Earned NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete, Academic All-Conference, and CSC Academic All-District honors.
First Year Highlights (2021): She ran her best time in 5000-meters with a time of 20:16.40 at the Blizzard Buzzard...in 3000-meters her best time was 11:21.26 at the Art Lanham Inviational...in 1500-meters she ran her best at the 2021 George Glass Invitational with a time of 5:35.47.
High School Highlights: Sarah attended Newport Central Catholic High School,was coached under Katrina Hlebiczki and Tom Powers...Team Captain senior year...Broke the Distance Medly Relay junior year.
Personal: Sarah Bertsch is the daughter of Julie and Ron Bertsch...four siblings, Donovan(29), Houston(28), Tyler(27), and Carolyn(25)...had several family memebers attend Thomas More;Father Ronnie M. Bertsch (1982-1986), Grandpa Ronald L. Bertsch Sr. (1957), and Uncle Mark Ridge(2003-2007).
