Thomas More Wins the Roger Merb Invitational

(MCDERMOTT, Ohio) – The Thomas More University women's golf team won the Roger Merb Invitational today (Tuesday, October 15, 2019) as it shot a 734 (372-362) at the Elks Country Club in McDermott, Ohio.

RESULTS:

  • First-year Rachel Hummel (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) finished third with a 175 (91-84).
  • First-year Alex Schutte (Cincinnati, Ohio/Colerain) placed fourth with a 177 (88-89).
  • Senior Cora Bradford (Union, Ky./Ryle) shot a 183 (92-91) to finish fifth.
  • First-year Regan Toothacker (Frankfort, Ky./Franklin County) finished 11th with a 199 (101-98).
  • Sophomore Maddie Johnson (Greenup, Ky./Raceland-Worthington) finished 12th with a 200 (101-99).
  • First-year Abby Wagner (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) competed as an individual and finished tied for sixth with a 194 (98-96).
  • Sophomore Franki Franklin (Anderson, Ohio/Anderson) competed as an individual and finished 16th with a 217 (108-109).
