Women's Golf Competes in Rain Shorten First Round at Golden Eagle Invitational

(LOUISVILLE, Ky.) – The Thomas More University women's golf team competed in the rain shorten first round of the Golden Eagle Invitational hosted by Spalding University today (Saturday, March 30, 2019) at Iroquis Golf Course in Louisville, Kentucky.

  • Due to the weather the first round was shorten to nine holes.
  • Senior Christie Modafari (Mason, Ohio/Mount Notre Dame) is tied for the lead with a 43.
  • Junior Cora Bradford (Union, Ky./Ryle) is tied for seventh with a 51.
  • First-year Sierra Abrams (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills) carded a 60 and is in 10th place.

  • The Saints will close out the Golden Eagle Invitational when the second round is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. at Iroquis Golf Course.
