National Champion Saints Finish Second in Division III Women's Basketball Home Attendance (INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.) – Thomas More University ranked second in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III women’s basketball home average attendance during the 2018-19 season according to the NCAA.
Thomas More Makes Official Move to NAIA and Mid-South Conference (CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) — Effective today (Monday, July 1, 2019), Thomas More University makes its official move to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Mid-South Conference from the National College Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III.
TMU Alumnae Madison Temple and Jenna Fessler Named CWSA Winners, Demonstrate Extraordinary Accomplishments (CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) — Scholar C.S. Lewis once said “Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny.” As “ordinary” student-athletes, Madison Temple ‘19 and Jenna Fessler ‘19 had no idea the adversity and triumph that was to unfold leading up to their graduation from Thomas More University. This week, recent TMU alumnae and student-athletes Fessler and Temple were both acknowledged by The Collegiate Women Sports Awards (CWSA) for their extraordinary accomplishments. Announced Monday, Temple is named the 2019 Division III Honda Athlete of the Year, and, as of today, Fessler is named the 2019 winner of the Honda Inspiration Award.
Madison Temple Named DIII Honda Athlete of the Year (CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) – Recent Thomas More University graduate Madison Temple (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) has been named the DIII Honda Athlete of the Year as announced by Executive Director Chris Voelz of THE Collegiate Women Sports Awards (CWSA) presented by Honda.
Gahan, Temple, and Hans Honored by Cincinnati Women's Sports Association The Cincinnati USA Women's Sports Association announced its college award winners today, April 29, 2019. Thomas More had three award winners, Madison Temple for women's basketball, and Andrea Gahan for last season's achievements in softball, winning the College Sportswoman of the Year for their respected sport. Also receiving an award is women's basketball Head Coach Jeff Hans, who was named the college Coach of the Year.
