Pat Eagan is entering his fourth full season as an assistant softball coach at Thomas More University in 2019. He is a 2001 graduate of Thomas More (B.A. History) and earned his Master's Degree in British and Irish history from the University of Cincinnati in 2004. Since the Fall of 2004 Pat Eagan has served as a professor in the Thomas More history department where he teaches World Civilizations as well as Medieval history.

Eagan, a Cincinnati, Ohio native graduated from Elder High School where he was a three-time All-Greater Catholic League performer in football and baseball. He played baseball at Thomas More from 1997 to 2001 as he played his senior year under current Head Coach Jeff Hetzer. Eagan’s career as a Saints was marked with honors as he was a four-year starter as an outfielder and pitcher and posted a career batting average of .325. He played and integral role in the outfield and on the mound in Thomas More’s first ever trip to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Regional Tournament in 2000. Eagan threw one of the College’s five no-hitters.

The highlight of Eagan’s career at Thomas More came in 2001 when he received the high distinction of being awarded the NCAA Post-Graduate scholarship for outstanding efforts in the classroom and on the baseball field.

Eagan and his wife, Lindsay, reside in Cincinnati, Ohio.
