Men's Cross Coutnry Finishes 10th at Cedarville Invitational

(CEDARVILLE, Ohio) – The Thomas More University men's cross country team finished 10th out of 11 teams today (Saturday, September 14, 2019) at the Cedarville University Invitational in Cedarville, Ohio.

  • Senior Oscar Ramirez (Florence, Ky./Ryle) led the Saints with a time of 27:42.5 to finish 44th out of 114 runners.
  • Sophomore David Klenk (Lebanon, Ohio/Lebanon) finished 29th with a time of 28:29.2.
  • First-year Tanner Ellis (Georgetown, Ohio/Georgetown) finished 61st with a time of 28:32.7.
  • First-year Andrew Schultz (Independence, Ky./Walton-Verona) finished right behind Ellis with a time of 28:33.4 for 62nd place.
  • First-year Kyle Gutfreund (Bright, Ind./East Central) was 81st with a time of 30:30.0.

  • Thomas More will race again on Friday (September 20) when it competes at the National Catholic Invitational in South Bend, Ind.
