Men's Cross Country Wins Asbury Invitational and Sets School Record

(WILMORE, Ky.) – The Thomas More men's cross country team won the Asbury University Invitational today (Saturday, October 20, 2018) with a school-record 20 points on the 8K race course in Wilmore, Kentucky.

  • Five Saints finished in the Top-6.
  • Senior Michael Campbell (Cincinnati, Ohio/LaSalle) was the top Saint as he finished second in the 53 runner field with a time of 27:46.2.
  • Junior Oscar Ramirez (Florence, Ky./Ryle) finished third with a time of 28:02.8.
  • Senior Ross Klocke (Alexandria, Ky./Bishop Brossart) placed fourth with a time of 28:07.0.
  • Sophomore Luke Glenn (New Richmond, Ohio/New Richmond) was fifth with a time of 28:28.9.
  • Senior Ronny Smith (Alexandria, Ky./Bishop Brossart) finished sixth with a time of 28:34.8.

  • First-year Dylan Sparks (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) finished 13th with a time of 29:39.6.
  • First-year David Roberdeaux (Villa Hills, Ky./Holy Cross) finished 14th with a time of 29:40.1.
  • Senior Josh Pusateri (Washington, Pa./Trinity) placed 16th with a time of 30:10.8.

  • The Saints return to action on November 10 when they compete at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional hosted by Franklin College in Shelbyville, Indiana.
