(DELAWARE, Ohio) – The Thomas More University men's golf team shot a second round 303 today (Sunday, April 28, 2019) to finish sixth with a 613 (310-303) at the Strimer Memorial Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University at Oakhaven Golf Club in Delaware, Ohio.
- Junior Zack Baynum (California, Ky./Campbell County) led the Saints as he finished tied for eighth with a 146 (75-71).
- Junior Kyle Alexander (Taylorsville, Ky./Spencer County) finished tied for 13th with a 147 (77-70).
- First-year Landon Finn (Florence, Ky./Boone County) finished 31st with a 155 (76-79).
- Senior Matt Striegel (Cold Spring, Ky./Newport Central Catholic) carded a 165 (82-83) to finish 49th.
- First-year Sebastian Sims (Maineville, Ohio/Little Miami) competed as an individual and finished tied for 54th with a 171 (90-81).
- Sophomore Robby Case IV (Crestview Hills, Ky./Covington Latin) competed as an individual and fished 56th with a 173 (89-84).
- Junior Blake Baioni (Cold Spring, Ky./Newport Central Catholic) competed as an individual and finished tied for 58th with a 182 (88-94).
- First-year Tyler Sansom (Alexandria, Ky./Bishop Brossart) finished tied for 58th with a 182 (89-93).
- This was the last tournament of the season for the Saints and they will transition to NAIA and the Mid-South Conference next season.
