Sophomore Highlights (2026): Competed in 5 indoor meets and all 5 outdoor meets. Was a member of the Distance Medley Relay team that placed 9^th at the G-MAC Indoor Championships with a total time of 11:14.90. He finished in 28^th place in the 800 at the G-MAC Indoor Championships with a time of 2:03.85 – his fastest of the indoor season. Recorded a personal best of 55.19 in the 400m at the Norse Invitational.

First Year Highlights (2025): Competed in all 12 meets on the year for the Saints. Posted 8 top 10 finishes on the season, including a 9th place finish at the MSJ Invite in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:12.98.

High School Highlights: Toro attended Calvary Christian High School where he was coached by Jeff Martin. During his career he earned Indiviudal Qualifier for the 800m, Relay Qualifier for the 4x400m, and State Individual Qualifier for the 400m dash, 1500m, and 800m dash.

Personal: Lucas Toro is the son of Liza Rivera and Lucas Tora. He has one sibling, Cristina.
