Lucas William Nare was born on December 28, 1992 ...  son of Tom and Beth ... has two siblings, Kevin and Kate.

Freshman Highlights:
(2012) In the Indoor season, Lucas ran his season's best in the 60m race at the Anderson Raven Indoor Invitational in 7.50 seconds, and in the 200m race at the DePauw Indoor Classic in 24.49 seconds. In the Outdoor season, Lucas ran his season's best in the 100m race at the OWU Ron Althoff Final Qualifier in 11.21 seconds, and in the 200m race at the Billy Hayes 2012 Inviational in 22.53 seconds.

Sophomore Highlights: (2013) PAC Champion in the 200-meter and All-PAC in the 100-meter and the 4x100 relay

Junior Highlights: (2014) Thomas More's first-ever track & field student-athlete to qualify for the NCAA Division III National Outdoor Championship as he qualified in the 100 and 200-meter dashes ... he qualified fourth in the 200-meter with a time of 21.17-seconds, which he set at Shelby Stadium during the Ron Althoff Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University and eighth in the 100-meter dash as he had a time of 10.89-seconds at the DePauw University Invitational ... Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) champion in the 100-meter, 200-meter and in the 4x100 relay

Senior Highlights:
(2015) In the indoor season, Lucas ran a 50.31 for the 400m that placed him in 4th place at the indoor PAC Championships...7.13 for the 60m that landed him in 3rd placcce at the Engineer Invitational... In the outdoor season, he ran a 11.02 for the 100m that placed him in 7th place at the Billy Hayes Invitational...21.66 for the 200m which landed him in 3rd at the OWU Ron Althoff Final Qualifying Meet...Lucas was also named 2nd team All-  Conference Honors in the 200m dash.
