James Wesley Smith is the son of Tim and Eli Smith.

Wesley earned 6 varsity letters at Woodford County High School where he played for Stan Watts.

(2016-17) Competed on the No. 3 doubles tandem that finished third in the PAC Championship, along with finishing fourth in the No. 6 singles ... Had a 12-9 singles record at No. 4, No. 5, and No. 6 ... Had a 9-7 doubles record at No. 2 and No. 3.
