Darron earned four varsity letters at Mason County High School, where he played for Brad Cox ... won the coaches award his sophomore, junior and senior seasons and the most improved award his sophomore season ... named all-region his junior season ... his senior season he was named to the Bluegrass Conference Team and finished in the Top-50 at State.

(2013-14) Tied for fourth best scoring average on the team with an 81.5 stroke average in 18 competitive rounds ... shot a season-best at the Transylvania Invitational in his first round with a score of 74 ... received second team All-PAC in the spring with a score of 157 (76-81).

(2014-15) Second on the team in scoring with a stroke average of 79-.4 in 15 competitive rounds ... shot a season-low 72 during the first round of the Ohio Wesleyan University tournament ... received second team All-PAC honors.

(2015-16) Third on the team in scoring with a stroke average of 80.5 in 18 rounds. Best round was a 72 at the PAC Spring Tournament.
