Men's Basketball Takes on Manchester Tonight at 3 p.m.

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) - The Thomas More men's basketball team looks to keep their momentum going as they return home tonight, Dec. 31, 2018, for the final game in 2018 for the Saints. Thomas More comes into tonight 9-7 overall and on a three-game winning streak. 

  • The Saints are coming into tonight after going 2-0 at the Mount Union Classic earlier this week. 
  • Thomas More took down Adrian 89-57 and Trine 89-73.
  • In the Adrian game, four Saints finished in double-digits as Ryne Callahan finished the game just short of a double-double with 24 points, one assist, eight rebounds, and one block. 
  • Brandon Horne posted 22 points, five rebounds, one steal, and went 10-14 from the field. 
  • Damion King finished the game with 13 points, five rebounds, and two steals. 
  • Bertsch, the fourth Saints to post double-digits, finished with 11 points, five rebounds, and six assists. 
  • Ralph Stone posted the team-high of seven rebounds, along with four points and five steals. 
  • Kort Justice finished the game going 2-2 from the field and beyond the arc for six points on the night.
  • In the Trine game, four Saints put up double-digits tonight, led by Ryan Batte with the game-high 26 points.
  • Batte went 9-9 from the foul line as well as grabbing five rebounds, two assists, and two steals. 
  • King finished with 18 points, along with six assists.
  • Callahan put up 13 points, recorded three rebounds, three steals, and two assists.
  • Horne finished with 13 points, along with the game-high eight rebounds, two assists, and two steals. 
  • Garren Bertsch posted nine points along with four rebounds. 


  • Manchester comes into tonight 4-6 overall and on a one-game winning streak. 
  • The Spartans are playing their first game since December 17 as they knocked off Elmhurst 67-66.
  • The Spartans are averaging 70.6 points per game, led by Adrian Johnson who is averaging 18.9 points per game. 
  • Abdul Ogunnaike leads the team with 5.8 rebounds per game.
