Men's Tennis Falls Short to UIS

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-Thomas More University's men's tennis team fell to UIS on Friday (Feb 6), 4-3. The Saints overall record falls to 0-2.

• Junior Magnus Hauska (Taufkirchen, Germany/Gymnasium Oberhaching) and senior Raphael Delente (Chapet, France/Notre Dame Les Oiseaux) defeated Pablo Herrera and Lin En Tan 7-6.
• Sophomore Camille Le Guellec (Treillieres, France/Cofab Ifom) and senior Samuel Mimbrero Lendinez (Madird Gaspar Sanz) fell 7-5 to Luke Pennington and Miran Todorovic.
• Sophomore Reggie Bechtel (Flatwoods, KY Paul G. Blazer) and sophomore Bernat Coll Ballester (Sant Cugat Del Vallès/Escola Lleó XIII) won 6-4 over Antonio Ayerbe Streubel.

• Raphael Delente fell 6-3 and 6-0 to Pablo Herrera.
• Samuel Mimbrero Lendinez came up short to Lin En Tan 6-2 and 6-3.
• Camille Le Guellec won 4-6 and 6-4 retired over Kai Van-Roon.
• Magnus Hauska fell to Luke Pennington 6-4 and 6-4.
• Sophomore Tammo Kreiser (Darmstadt, Germany/Justus Liebig Schule) came up short to Miran Todorovic 6-3 and 6-4.
• Bernat Coll Ballester won 7-6, 2-6, and 1-0 tie breaker over Lukas Pieringer.

The Saints return tomorrow (Feb 7) against Hanover beginning at 6:00 pm ET.
