Men’s Track and Field Places 5th at the Centre Indoor Showcase

(Danville, KY) Thomas More University's men's track and field team placed 5th at the Centre Indoor Showcase hosted by Centre College (Jan. 23) with a team score of 58.  

• Junior Carter Engle (Independence, KY/Holy Cross) won the 5k with a time of 16:47.80 

• Sophomore Noah Miller (Union, KY/Cooper) placed 5th in the mile with a time of 4:35.46 

• Sophomore Andrew Witherington (Lexington, KY/Tates Creek) PR'd in two events,  placing 3rd in the 400m dash with a time of 52.77, and 8th in the 200m dash with a tine of 23.36 

• Sophomore Keegan Mehr (Brookville, OH/Brookville) placed 6th in the 400m dash with a time of 53.96 

• Junior David Warner (Indianapolis, IN/Roncalli) placed 4th in the 800m with a time of 2:08.97 

• Senior Jude Theriot (Independence, KY/Simon Kenton) and sophomore Lucas Toro (Florence, KY/Calvary Christian) placed 4th and 5th respectively in the 800m with times of 2:12.21 and 2:12.36 

• The men's 4x400m team placed 3rd with a time of 3:36.37 

• Freshman Jase Harmon (Fort Wayne, IN/Norwell) placed 5th in the long jump at 6.37m, and 6th in the high jump at 1.70m 

• Junior Carson Oldham (Fleming County, KY/Fleming County High School) placed 2nd in the weight throw at 15.32m 

The Saints travel north for the Wittenburg Steemer Showcase on January 31st at Wittenburg University (Springfield, OH).
