Men's Tennis Falls to Ashland in Season Finale

Box Score (CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY)-Thomas More University's men's tennis team fell to Ashland on Saturday afternoon (April 20), 4-0. The Saints finish their season with a 2-10 overall record and 1-7 in conference.

• Junior Anderson McDowell (Alexandria, Ky./Campbell County)and sophomore Jackson Poulos (Edgewood, Ky./Covington) won 6-2 over Batsomi Marobela and Tomas Paskauskas.
• Junior Eliott Burer (Coppet/Riverside) and first year Caleb Pritchett (Haslet, Texas/V.R. Eaton) fell to Fabian Bussard and Rodrigo Ludgero.
• Junior Enrique Aceves Pizzaro (Huixquilucan/Caurol Springs) and first year Dason Herrington (Cynthiana, Ky./Harrison County) were defeated 6-1 to Omar Prince and Reid Opel.

• Sophomore Samuel Mimbrero Lendinez (Madrid/ Gaspar Sanz) fell to Rodrigo Ludgero 6-2 and 6-2.
• Anderson McDowell was defeated 6-3 and 6-1 to Batsomi Marobela.
• Sophomore Sebastian Guevara (Cusco, Peru/Andino Cusco International School Hillsborough CC) fell to Fabian Bussard 7-5 and 6-1.

The Saints will return next season in their second season competing in NCAA DII.
