Men's Tennis Defeat Kentucky Wesleyan on Senior Day

Box Score (CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY)-Thomas More University's men's tennis team defeated Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon (April 13), 7-0. The Saints overall record improves to 2-8 and 1-5 in conference.

• Sophomore Jackson Poulos (Edgewood, Ky./Covington) and junior Anderson McDowell (Alexandria, Ky./Campbell County) won 6-4 over Adryan Taylor and Jose Ferrandis.
• Sophomore Samuel Mimbrero Lendinez (Madrid/ Gaspar Sanz) and graduate student Sergio San Pablo (Madrid, Spain/Valdefuentes) defeated Marc and Nick Stoever 6-2.
• Junior Eliott Burer (Coppet/Riverside) and junior Enrique Aceves Pizzaro (Huixquilucan/Caurol Springs) won 6-2 over Connor Adams and Lucas Holder.

• Sergio San Pablo won 6-1, 6-7 (4-7), and 6-1 over Adryan Taylor.
• Anderson McDowell defeated Marc Stoever 6-2 and 6-1.
• Jackosn Poulos won over Jose Ferrandis 6-2 and 6-4.
• Sophomore Sebastian Guevara (Cusco, Peru/Andino Cusco International School Hillsborough CC) beat Nick Stoever 6-1, 4-6, and 7-5.
• First year Caleb Pritchett (Haslet, Texas/V.R. Eaton) won 6-1 and 6-1 over Harrison Stanley.
• First year Dason Herrington (Cynthiana, Ky./Harrison County) rounded out the Saints winning 7-6 (7-5), 6-7 (3-7), and 1-0 (10-0) over Lucas Holder.

The Saints return Wednesday (April 17) against Cedarville in Cedarville, Ohio at 4:00 pm.
