(BOWLING GREEN, Ky.) – The Thomas More University women's golf team finished up their 2022-23 season this afternoon at Bowling Green Country Club in the Mid-South Conference Championships. They finished in 10th place with a team score of 1,062 (355, 351, 356). This was the team's second best 54-hole score of the season, trailing their 1,048 they shot in the MSC Fall Preview at Bowling Green Country Club in October of 2022.
- Senior Rachel Hummel (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) led the Saints, tying for 17th place with a score of 239 (81, 79, 79). This ties her season-best 54-hole total from April in the MSC Spring Tournament. She made two birdies during the tournament.
- Maddie Johnson (Greenup, Ky./Raceland) had her best finish of the season, tying for 35th at 258 (89, 85, 84). This is her best 54-hole score of the season, while her 84 today was her best single round of the season. She finished the tournament with one birdie.
- Bella Peru (Erlanger, Ky./Dixie Heights) finished the tournament in 46th place, with a total of 330 (113, 117, 100). This was her best finish of the season, best 54-hole score of the season and her round today was her best 18-hole score of the season.
- Hannah Rice (Burlington, Ky./Notre Dame Academy), Reagan Toothaker (Frankfort, Ky./Franklin County) and Kyndell Frazier (Covington, Ky./Scott) all played a pair of rounds in the tournament for Thomas More as substitutes.
- Rice shot a 92 and 84, while making one birdie, Toothaker shot a pair of 93's and Frazier shot 103 and 108. Frazier's first round was her best of the season.
The Saints will return to the links in the fall and will be competing as a member of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
