Men's Tennis Defeats Bethel (Tenn.) for First Conference Win

(CRESTVEW HILLS, Ky.)-Thomas More University's men's tennis team defeated Bethel (Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon (April 8), 5-2. The Saints overall record improves to 2-11 and 1-8 in conference.

• Senior Sergio San Pablo (Madrid, Spain/Valdefuentes) and first year Jackson Poulos (Edgewood, Ky./Covington Catholic) won 6-4 over Pedro D'Avila Vecchi and Pedro Donadon.
• First Year Samuel Mimbrero Lendinez and sophomore Eliot Burer won 7-6 and 7-5 over Renato Gravina and Marcos Neves.
• Graduate student Gavin Dail (North Hollywood, Calif./Van Nuys) and first year Sebastian Guevara (Cusco, Peru Andino Cusco InternationalSchool) fell 3-6 to Juan David Hernandez and Leonel Caspe.

• Sergio San Pablo defeated Pedro D'Avila Vecchi 3-6, 6-4, 6-0.
• Jackson Poulos won with the scores 6-2 and 6-4 over Juan David Hernandez.
• Sameul Mimbrero fell 4-6, 6-4, and 6-7 (4) Marcos Neves.
• Gavin Dail won with the scores 6-2, 4-6, and 6-4 over Pedro Donadon.
• Sebastian Guevara was defeated by Leonel Caspe 0-6 and 1-6.
• Eliot Burer defeated Eduardo Torquato 6-0, 4-6, and 10-8.

The Saints return to action on Friday (April 14) against Shawnee State to close out their regular season at 6:00 pm ET at Five Seasons Family Sports Club.
