(CROSSVILLE, Tenn.) – The Thomas More women's golf team played in the Mid-South Conference Spring Tournament the last two days at Cumberland Bear Trace Golf Club in Tennessee. The Saints finished 11th with a total score of 1,233 (420, 397, 416).
- Senior Rachel Hummel (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) had a fantastic tournament, shooting 239 (83, 77, 79) and finishing in a tie for seventh place, her best finish of the season. This was her best 54-hole total of the season, and her 77 is the best round of her season. Hummel made five birdies in the tournament.
- Maddie Johnson (Greenup, Ky./Raceland) finished 50th at 285 (93, 101, 91). She made one birdie in the tournament.
- First Year Kyndell Frazier (Covington, Ky./Scott) finished 58th with a score of 349 (116, 112, 121). She tied her best round of the season.
- Sophomore Bella Peru (Erlanger, Ky./Dixie Heights) shot 360 (128, 107, 125) and finished in 60th place. Her second round total is her best of the season. Peru made one birdie in the tournament.
The Saints finish up the 2022-23 season in a few weeks in the Mid-South Conference Championship, hosted at Bowling Green Country Club on May 8th and May 9th.
