(BATAVIA, Ohio) – The Thomas More University women's golf team finished 11th in The Julie tournament today, hosted by Northern Kentucky University at Elks Run Golf Club. They shot a team total of 699 (352, 347).
- Senior Rachel Hummel (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) had the best finish for the Saints, tying for 52nd with a two day total of 166 (81, 85).
- This is her best 36-hole score of the season, while her 81 is the third best score she has shot.
- She made one birdie during the tournament, with it coming on the Par-3 17th hole this afternoon.
- First-year Hannah Rice (Burlington, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) finished 65th with a 176 (89, 87).
- Her 87 is the second-best round of her season, with her shooting it one other time.
- Both Maddie Johnson (Greenup, Ky./Raceland) and Reagan Toothaker (Frankfort, Ky./Franklin County) tied for 67th with a 180.
- Johnson went 94, 86, while Toothaker shot 91, 89.
- Johnson's 86 this afternoon ties her best round of the season.
- This is Toothaker's best 36-hole score and these are the two best rounds of her season.
- Sophomore Sydney Miller (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) finished 73rd with a 193 while sophomore Bella Peru (Erlanger, Ky./Dixie Heights) finished 74th at 280.
- Miller made one birdie yesterday on the Par-4 10th hole.
- Miller's 36-hole score ties her best of the season while her 91 yesterday is the best round of her season.
The Saints next tournament is on Monday and Tuesday in Blacklick, Ohio at the Ohio Dominican NC4K Classic, hosted at Jefferson Country Club.
