(RICHMOND, Ky.) – The Thomas More University men's golf team finished up the Alice Lloyd College Men's Spring Invitational in a season-best second place Sunday afternoon with a score of 611 (320, 291). The Saints bumped up three spots after sitting in fifth after day one. Their score of 291 is their best single-day score of the season.
- The Saints best finishers were Dakota Finn (Florence, Ky./Boone County) and Mason Butler (Florence, Ky./St. Henry), who both tied for sixth place.
- They shot 150, with Butler going 80, 70, and Finn shooting 77, 73.
- Butler tied his season-best round of 70, which he has now shot four times this season.
- Finn's 73 also tied his season-best round, as he shot a 73 one other time this season.
- This was also Finn's best 36-hole total of the season.
- Butler made four total birdies over the two rounds while Finn made two birdies and had an eagle today on the Par-5 16th hole.
- Finn made one of just seven total eagles during the tournament.
- Tying for 14th with a score of 153 (78, 75) was Jerod Baynum (California, Ky./Bishop Brossart).
- Baynum had four birdies in today's round for the Saints.
- Ben Epplen (Fort Mitchell, Ky./Beechwood) finished 27th with a score of 158 (85, 73).
- He had four birdies during the tournament.
- Connor Albrinck (Hebron, Ky./St. Henry) tied for 36th with a score of 165 (90, 75).
- This is his best 36-hole total of the season, while his 75 is the best round of his season.
- Albrinck finished up the tournament with three birdies.
