Men's Tennis Comes up Short to UT Southern

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-Thomas More University men's tennis team fell to UT Southern on Friday (March 17) 4-3. The Saints overall record falls to 1-5 and 0-2 in conference.

• Senior Sergio San Pablo (Madrid, Spain/Valdefuentes) and first year Samuel Mimbrero Lendinez was defeated by Luis Guilherme Cupertino and Nickolas  Rosa 7-6 (8) (6).
• First year Jackson Poulos (Edgewood, Ky./Covington Catholic) and  junior Juan Pablo Villagrana Francisco (Cordoba, Veracruz/TEC de Monterrey) won 6-4 over Shizuya  Kubo and Martin Cabrera.
• Sophomore Elliot Burer and  junior Nehmia Molla (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Heritage Academy) fell to Rage Matuk and Felipe Dias  6-2).

• Sergio San Pablo defeated Shizuya Kubo 3-6, 6-1, and 6-4.
• Jackson Poulos defeated Martin Cabrera 6-0, 6-7 (3), and 6-2.
• Juan Pablo Villagrana Francisco won 4-3 ret over Luis Guilhereme.
• Nehmia Molla fell to Gasper Audisions 6-1 and 6-3.
• Elliot Burer came up short to Nickloas Rosa 3-6 and 3-6.
• First year Sebastian Guevara (Cusco, Peru Andino Cusco International School) was defeated by Felipe Dias 6-2 and 6-1.

The Saints return to action tonight (March 18) at 5:00 pm ET against Cumberland (Tenn.) at Five Seasons.
