(DANVILLE, Ky.)-Thomas More University women's tennis team defeated Centre College on Sunday afternoon (February 19), 5-4. The Saints overall record improves to 3-2.
- First year Alexis Covington (Cincinnati, Ohio/Walnut Hills) and first year Heidi Kane (Gilford, Ind./East Central) started things off for the Saints by defeating Lainey Hill and Carlie Mitchell 8-6.
- Sophomore Dakota Schroeder (Tipp City, Ohio/Tippecaneo) and sophomore Noelia Martinez Garcia (Santander, Spain/IES Las Llamas) followed by winning 8-6 over Ella Rueff and Grace Williams.
- Senior Kimberly Sabga (Maraval, Trinidad and Tobago International School of Port of Spain) and junior Cassie Saner (Independence, Ky. Simon Kenton) fell 8-2.
- Alexis Covington defeated Ella Rueff 6-2 and 6-2.
- Dakota Schroeder fell by 2-1 with the scores of 6-4, 4-6, and 5-7 to Lainey Hills.
- Noelia Martinze Garcia won 6-3 and 6-3 over Carlie Mitchell.
- Heidi Kane come up short to Maddy Trinh 6-3 and 6-4.
- Cassie Saner fell 2-1 to Grace Williams with the scores 7-5, 0-6, and 3-6.
- Kim Sabga closed out the day for the Saints with a win over Mamie Sevier 6-1 and 6-2.

The Saints return to action on March 3 against Georgetown in Georgetown, Ky. at 3:00 pm ET to open up conference play.
