(Ashland, OH) – The Thomas More University women's golf team concluded a busy week of action Sunday afternoon at the Eagle Invitational, hosted by Ashland University, with a seventh-place finish 701 (349, 352).
How It Happened
The Saints were led by fifth-year
Natalie Hamilton, who recorded her best finish as a Saint Sunday afternoon, tying for first overall with a score of 158 (79, 79). Hamilton made four birdies during the tournament and bested her overall score earlier this week by 13 strokes. Yesterday, she shot a 38 on the front nine before shooting a 38 on the back nine this afternoon. Hamilton was also named to the All-Tournament Team.
Rachel Hummel shot an 84 this afternoon and came away with a total of 172 after an 88 yesterday. She made one birdie during the tournament and finished in a tie for 23rd.
Hannah Rice finished 40th with a 183 (90, 93), and she finished with one of just two eagles during the entire tournament, making a three on the Par-5 eleventh hole yesterday.
Maddie Johnson finished in 47th (92, 98) while
Hannah Dargie tied for 49th (96, 96). Dargie made one birdie during the tournament for the Saints.
Sydney Miller and
Reagan Toothaker both competed as individuals for the Saints. Miller finished 51st (100, 93) while Toothaker placed 60th (104, 101). They both finished with one birdie during the tournament. Miller also shaved six strokes off her tournament score from earlier this week.

Thomas More has the week off before traveling to Goodlettsville, Tennessee to play in the Music City Invitational on October 3rd and 4th, hosted by Cumberland University at Twelve Stones Golf Club.
