#12 Patriots Defeat Men's Tennis 5-2

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-Thomas More University men's tennis team fell to #12 Cumberlands (Ky.) on Friday (April 8) 5-2. The Saints overall record falls to 7-9 and 2-6 in conference. 

• Fernando Martin Paz (Brunete, Madrid / Alcala) and first year Alonso DePrada (Madrid, Spain) won 6-2.
• Sophomore Anderson McDowell (Alexandria, Ky. / Campbell County) and first year Nehmia Molla won with the score of 6-3.
• Junior Sergio San Pablo (Madrid, Spain/Valdefuentes) and first year Payson Scott (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) fell 3-6.

• Anderson McDowell fell with the scores 3-6 and 1-6.
• Alonso DePrada was defeated 4-6 and 0-6.
• Fernando Martin Paz fell 6-4, 3-6, 6-7, and a 6 tiebreaker.
• Sergio San Pablo was 7-6, 6-4, and 3 tiebreaker.
• Nehmia Molla was defeated 1-6 and 3-6.
• First year Enrique Aceves Pizzaro (Estado De Mexico/Caurol Springs) fell 0-6 and 2-6.

The Saints return to the court on Saturday (April 9) at 5:00 pm ET at Five Seasons against Pikeville.
