Men's Tennis Drops Match to #16 Cumberland (Tenn.)

(LEBANON, TENN.)-Thomas More University men's tennis team fell to #16 Cumberland (Tenn.) on Saturday (April 2) with the score of 6-1. The Saints overall record falls to 7-7 and 2-4 in conference. 

• First year Alonso DePrada (Madrid, Spain) and Fernando Martin Paz (Brunete, Madrid / Alcala) fell 6-4.
• Sophomore Anderson McDowell (Alexandria, Ky. / Campbell County) and first year Nehmia Molla  were defeated 6-1.
• Junior Sergio San Pablo (Madrid, Spain/Valdefuentes) and sophomore Juan Pablo Villagrana Francisco (Cordoba, Veracruz / TEC de Monterrey) fell 6-1.

• Anderson McDowell was defeated 6-3, 4-6, 1-0 with 7 tiebreaker.
• Fernando Martin Paz fell with the scores of 6-4 and 6-1.
• Alonso DePrada won 4-6, 6-1, and 9-11.
• Sergio San Pablo was defeated 6-1 and 6-3.
• Juan Pablo Villagrana fell 6-0 and 6-1.
• Nehmia Molla fell with the scores 6-3 and 6-1. 

The Saints return to the court on Sunday (April 3) against UT Southern at 11:00 am ET in Pulaski, Tenn.
