Men's Tennis Defeats Pikeville 5-2

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-Thomas More University men's tennis team defeated Pikeville 5-2 on Saturday (April 9). The Saints overall record improves to 8-10 and 3-6 in conference.

• Fernando Martin Paz (Brunete, Madrid / Alcala) and first year Alonso DePrada (Madrid, Spain) won 6-2.
• Sophomore Anderson McDowell (Alexandria, Ky. / Campbell County) and first year Nehmia Molla won with the score 7-6.
• Junior Sergio San Pablo (Madrid, Spain/Valdefuentes) and first year Payson Scott (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) were defeated 4-6.

• Anderson McDowell won 7-5 and 6-3.
• Fernando Martin Paz fell 3-6 and 4-6.
• Alonso DePrada won with the scores of 6-2 and 6-1.
• Sergio San Pablo won 3-6, 6-0, and 6-1.
• Payson Scott was defeated 2-6 and 3-6.
• Nehmia Molla won 6-2 and 6-2.

The Saints return to the court on Friday (April 15) against Shawnee State in Portsmouth, Ohio at 2:00 pm ET.
