Men's Tennis Comes up Short to Georgetown

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-Thomas More University men's tennis team fell to Georgetown on Saturday (March 26) with the score of 3-4. The Saints overall record falls to 7-6 and 2-3 in conference.

• First year Alonso DePrada (Madrid, Spain) and junior Sergio San Pablo (Madrid, Spain/Valdefuentes) fell 4-6.
• Sophomore Anderson McDowell (Alexandria, Ky. / Campbell County) and first year Nehmia Molla won with the score 6-3.
• First year Payson Scott (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) and senior Brandon Kwok (Sugar Land, Texas/Stephen F. Austin) won 7-5.

• Anderson McDowell fell with the scores of 6-1, 4-6, and 3-6.
• Alonso DePrada won 6-1 and 6-2.
• Sergio San Pablo was defeated 5-7 and 3-6.
• Nehmia Molla fell 1-6, 6-2, and 1-6.
• Payson Scott was defeated with the scores of 3-6 and 2-6.
• Sophomore Juan Pablo Villagrana Francisco (Cordoba, Veracruz / TEC de Monterrey) won 7-6, 6-4, and a tiebreaker of seven. 

The Saints return to the court on April 2 against Cumberland (Tenn.) in Lebanon, Tenn. at 11:00 am ET.
