Men's Tennis Drop Contest to RV Campbellsville

Crestview Hills, Ky. - The men's tennis program at Thomas More dropped their contest to the receiving votes Tigers of Campbellsville in the MSC opener by a 5-2 score.

• Anderson McDowell (Alexandria, Ky. / Campbell County) and Fernando Martin Paz (Brunete, Madrid / Alcala) fell in the no.1 doubles match by a score of 6-4.
• First year Payson Scott (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson)  and first year Alonso DePrada (Madrid, Spain) fell in no.2 doubles action with a 6-4 score.
• Sophomore Juan Pablo Villagrana Francisco (Cordoba, Veracruz / TEC de Monterrey) and Nehmia Molla won with the score of 6-2.

• Anderson McDowell fell in the top singles play in three sets by scores of 6-4, 4-6, and 0-6.
• Fernando Martin Paz would pick up the first individual win for the Saints witha 6-3 and 7-6 (6) score line.
• Alonso DePrada won in the number three matchup with scores of 6-2 and 7-5.
• Sergio San Pablo fell in the number four match by scores of 6-3 and 6-2.
• Payson Scott fell with the scores of 61, 4-6, and 0-1 (11).
• Juan Pablo Villagrana Francisco fell with the scores of 3-6 and 0-6.

The Saints return to the court next Sunday (March 6) as the Saints kick off spring break in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina when they take on Lawrence Tech at 12:30 ET.
