Men's Tennis Slide by Cedarville 5-2

(CEDARVILLE, Ohio)-Thomas More University men's tennis team defeated Cedarville on Saturday (Feb. 19), 5-2. The Saints overall record improves to 4-3.

• Anderson McDowell (Alexandria, Ky. / Campbell County) and Fernando Martin Paz (Brunete, Madrid / Alcala) won with the score of 6-1.
• First year Payson Scott (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson)  and first year Alonso DePrada (Madrid, Spain) won 6-4.
• Junior Sergio San Pablo (Madrid, Spain / Valdefuentes) and Nehmia Molla won with the scores of 7-6 and tie breaker 7-5.

• Anderson McDowell won with the scores of 7-6, 4-6, and 7-5.
• Fernando Martin Paz won with the scores of 7-6 and 6-4.
• Alonso DePrada won with the scores of 7-6 and 6-3.
• Sergio San Pablo won with the scores of 7-5, 4-6, and 6-4.
• Payson Scott fell with the scores of 6-4, 6-7, and 4-7.
• Nehmia Molla fell with the scores of 6-7 and 5-7.

The Saints return to the court next Saturday (Feb. 26) as the Saints kick off conference play against Campbellsville at 5:30 pm at Five seasons.
