Men's Tennis Falls to Dayton in Double Header

Dayton, Ohio - The men's tennis program at Thomas More fell to the University of Dayton in both matches on Sunday, January 23.

• Sergio San Pablo (Madrid, Spain / Valdefuentes) and Alonso DePrada (Madrid, Spain) fell in a matchup of two's 6-3. 
• DePrada teamed up with Enrique Aceves Pizzaro (Estado De Mexico / Caurol Springs) in the second match where they fell 6-1.
• Sophomore Juan Pablo Villagrana Francisco (Cordoba, Veracruz / TEC de Monterrey) and Payson Scott (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) fell in the first match by a score of 6-1.
• Scott teamed up with Brandon Kwok (Sugar Land, Texas / Stephen F. Austin) in the second match in which they lost 6-1.

• Anderson McDowell (Alexandria, Ky. / Campbell County) went 0-1 with an unfinished as he fell 6-0, 6-0 in the first match and the second match was unfinished.
• Fernando Martin Paz (Brunete, Madrid / Alcala) fell in both of his matches on Sunday by score of 6-2, 6-3 and 6-1, 6-2.
• San Pablo went 0-1 in singles play as he was retired in the first match with the score 6-0, 3-0.
• DePrada also went 0-1 with an unfinished match in singles play with scores of 6-2, 6-4 and his unfinished match was scored at 6-2, 4-1.
• Scott fell to 0-2 in singles as he fell 6-0, 6-0 and 6-4, 6-0.
• Aceves Pizzaro went 0-1 in singles play as he fell in the second match 6-1, 6-0.
• Juan Pablo Villagrana went 0-1 in singles play, falling 6-1, 6-0.
• Kwok fell to 0-1 on the day with a score of 6-0, 6-1.

Men's tennis will return to the court on Saturday, February 4, when they play host to IU Southeast at Five Season Family Sports Club at 5:30 p.m. ET.
