Men's Tennis Falls 7-0 to NKU in Spring Opener

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-Thomas More University men's tennis team fell to Northern Kentucky University on Saturday afternoon  (Jan. 15), 7-0 in their spring season opener.

• First year Alonso DePrada (Madrid, Spain) and junior Sergio San Pablo (Madrid, Spain / Valdefuentes) fell with the score of 2-6.
• Sophomore Fernando Martin Paz (Brunete, Madrid / Alcala) and first year Payson Scott (Cincinnati, Ohio / Anderson) fell 1-6.
• Sophomore Anderson McDowell (Alexandria, Ky. / Campbell County) and sophomore Juan Pablo Villagrana Francisco (Cordoba, Veracruz / TEC de Monterrey) fell with the score of 3-6.

• McDowell fell with the scores of 1-6 and 1-6.
• Martin Paz fell with the score of 0-6 and 0-6.
• San Pablo fell with the scores of 5-7, 6-3, and 3-6.
• De Pruda fell with the scores of 2-6, 6-4, and 0-6.
• Scott fell with the scores of 0-6 and 3-6.
• Villagrana fell with the scores of 6-4, 0-6, and 1-10.

Next up, the Saints return to the court on January 23 at the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.
