Men's Tennis Defeats Bethel to Extend Winning Streak to Three Matches

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) – The Thomas More University men's tennis team won its third-straight match today (Saturday, April 3, 2021) as it defeated Bethel University, 5-2, in a Mid-South Conference match at Five Seasons Sports Club in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.

• Junior Gavin Dail fell 7-6 (10-8), 6-2 at No. 1.
• Sophomore Sergio San Pablo won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2.
• First-year Fernando Martin Paz was a 6-3, 6-4 winner at No. 3.
• First-year Juan Villagrana Francisco won 6-4, 6-1 at No. 4.
• Senior Jared Haught was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at No. 5.
• First-year Casey Vicars fell 6-3, 5-7, 1-0 (10-6) at No. 6.

• San Pablo and Martin Paz won 6-1 at No. 1
• Villagrana Francisco and Haught were 6-3 winners at No. 2.
• Dail and senior Brandon Kwok fell 7-5 at No. 3.

• The Saints return to action next Saturday (April 10) when they travel to Columbia, Kentucky to play ninth-ranked Lindsey Wilson College.
