Men's Tennis Finish up Fall Season with 5-2 Win Over Wittenberg

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)- Thomas More University men's tennis team defeated Wittenberg on Saturday evening (October 16), 5-2, at Five Seasons in Crestview Hills, Ky. to finish up their fall season.

• First year Alonso DePrada (Madrid, Spain) and sophomore Fernando Martin Paz (Brunete, Madrid / Alcala) won with the score 6-2.
• Junior Sergio San Pablo (Madrid, Spain / Valdefuentes) and first year Payson Scott (Cincinnati, Ohio / Anderson) won 6-4.
• Sophomore Anderson McDowell (Alexandria, Ky. / Campbell County) and senior Brandon Kwok (Sugar Land, Texas / Stephen F. Austin) won 6-3.

• Martin won with the scores of 6-2 and 6-1.
• DePrada won with the scores of 7-5 and 6-3.
• San Pablo won with the scores of 7-6 and 7-5.
• Scott won 4-6, 7-5, and 6-2.
• Kwok fell 0-6.
• Junior Casey Vicars (Burlington, Ky. / Holy Cross) fell with the scores of 3-6 and 2-6.

The Saints return back to the court January 23 against the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.
