(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) – The Thomas More University men's tennis team fell, 7-0, to Asbury University on Saturday evening (February 29, 2020) in a non-conference match played indoors at Five Seasons Sports Club in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
- The Saints fall to 4-6 on the season.
- The Eagles improve to 1-0.
- Sophomore Gavin Dail (North Hollywood, Calif./Van Nuys) battled before falling 4-6, 6-7, 1-0 at No. 1 singles.
- First-year Sergio Bermeio (Madrid, Spain/Valdefuentes) fall at No. 2 singles by the score of 7-6, 6-3.
- Junior Josh Huster (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) fell 3-6, 6-3, 1-0 at No. 6 singles.
- The Saints will head south March 8-11 to compete in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
- Thomas More will play Lynchburg University, Milligan University and Lawrence Institute of Technology, while on the road trip.
