Saints Women Finish Eighth at Mid-South Conference Indoor Championships

(DEFIANCE, Ohio) – The Thomas More University women's track and field team finished in eighth place with 31 points after the second day of the Mid-South Conference Indoor Championships at the George Smart Athletic Center in Defiance, Ohio on Saturday (February 22, 2020).

• First-year Annabel Clayton (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) finished third in the 1,000-meter run with a time of 3:14.60.
• Samantha Clark placed eighth in the high jump with a mark of 1.40 meters.
• The 4x400-meter relay team of Grace Thamann (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley), Anja Arlinghaus (Independence, Ky./Simon Kenton), Clayton, and Milly McNulty (Mason, Ohio/Mason) finished fourth with a time of 4:18.08.

• The NAIA Indoor Championships will take place from March 5-7 in Brookings, S.D.
