(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) – The Thomas More University men's tennis team posted a 4-3 victory over Covenant College, 5-2, tonight (Saturday, February 15, 2020) in a match played indoors at the Five Season Sports Club in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
- The No. 2 tandem of first-year Sergio Bermeio (Madrid Spain/Valdefuentes) and sophomore Ethan Caruso (Cincinnati, Ohio/Turpin) were 6-0 winners.
- Sophomore Gavin Dail (North Hollywood, Calif./Van Nuys) won 7-6, 6-4 at No. 1 singles.
- Bermeio won at No. 2 singles 4-6, 6-0, 6-1.
- Caruso posted a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles.
- Sophomore Jaret Fidler (Bakersfield, Calif./Centennial) was a 6-2, 6-3 winner at No. 5 singles.
- Thomas More returns to action next Saturday (February 22) when it travels to Cedarville, Ohio to play Cedarville University.
